Welcome to Airpark Chatter Toastmasters — a chapter of Toastmasters International located in the Scottsdale Airpark. We’re dedicated to helping our members learn the finer points of public speaking and fostering leadership skills necessary to get ahead.
Airpark Chatter Toastmasters, located in the Scottsdale Airpark, can help you become the speaker and leader you want to be no matter what your public speaking experience.
People who get ahead in life are those who can communicate effectively. Wouldn’t you like to develop this priceless skill? Now you can. Airpark Chatter Toastmasters will show you how to listen effectively, think on your feet and speak confidently. You will learn valuable leadership skills. Be a success — at home or on the job. Come visit our Toastmasters club and see what it can do for you!
Whether you’re a professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retiree, Toastmasters is the best way to improve your communication skills. Toastmasters can help you lose the fear of public speaking and learn skills that will help you be more successful in whatever path in life you’ve chosen. You’ll be a better listener. You’ll easily lead teams, conduct meetings or give the perfect wedding toast. You’ll comfortably give and receive constructive evaluation. If you already have some or all of these skills, you will enhance them in Toastmasters!
Earning a Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters won’t just improve your public speaking prowess — it will bolster your self esteem. The Competent Communicator certification is highly sought after by employers. In today’s economy you need every edge you can get. To complete the program you will need to complete ten speeches from the Basic Communications Manual, where each project focuses on a different aspect of speech writing and delivery. Learn more about the Competent Communicator Program.
The Competent Leadership Program will cultivate a variety of leadership skills. By serving as a meeting functionary, or by serving on a variety of club committees, you will earn credit towards the Competent Leadership certification. You will need to complete ten leadership projects to earn the certification and each project requires you to server in one or more role to fulfill the project requirements.
